Even though he may not know how to express it, he wants to be a handsome groom that stands next to the beautiful bride on his wedding day. Keep these tips in mind when dressing the groom and his attendants:
♥ Darker colors have a slimming effect.
♥ Coordinate ties, cummerbunds or suspenders colors with the same color as the bridesmaids' dresses.
♥ Rented formalwear usually includes a jacket, vest or cummerbund, pants, suspenders, shirt, cufflinks, studs and neckwear.
♥ Have your groom try patent leather shoes.
♥ Consider setting the groom apart with a different boutonnière, neckwear and cummerbund color.
♥ Reserve three months in advance. Have them try on their tuxedos and shoes a few days before so last minute adjustments can be made.
♥ Out-of-town groomsmen can have their measurements taken at a formalwear store near them and forwarded on to the store where you have reserved your tuxedos.
♥ Make sure that if the men are planning to get haircuts, they get them at least two weeks before the wedding day.
